I'm incompatible model of scientist because I'm an interdisciplinary scientist.

I've been working in Institute of Informatics (previously Department of

Mathematics and Informatics) University in Bialystok, Poland since 15 years.

I'm scientist and academic teacher. I've analyzed the experimental data of different

types: physical, biological, medical, which often came from different experimental

laboratory and data bases for the many years. For 6 years, I've worked as an

assistant in Institute of Experimental Physic, where I got practical skills in working with

the data from different physics experiments. I researched i.e. the magneto-optical

property of materials which are used to write information to a hard drive (in this time 

I got a patent for my invention).

Next, I started working in Institute of Informatics, where I knew not only the others

types of data but also the different types of processing and storing of information.

This experience had a very significant influence on my decision making about change

of scientific interests. I got PhD degree in physic at University in Lodz (2012).

I started working in Department of Bioinformatics in 2014. I process and analyze

biological and medical data using machine learning algorithm. For personal reasons,

I process mainly genetic data associated with incurable diseases i.e. leukemia,

breast cancer, neuroblastoma, inoperable prostate cancer, esophageal cancer, 

Parkinson's disease because I have a deep belief that my results of research can help

doctors in early disease detection and diagnosis in future.

Due to the size of the data files, I make a lot of calculations on a computational cluster 

in the Computational Centre (University of Bialystok). My favorite programming language are R, Python and Matlab. In 2017 I finished

Postgraduate studies "Data Science - Analytic Data" in Bialystok University of Technology. During my studies, I've extended my knowledge and practical skills in range of the storage and processing of big data, statistical and multidimensional data analysis, machine learning methods and tools. I gained knowledge about the business data models (financial, e-commerce, medical and social media).  I'm pretty good academic teacher. I got the students prize of the best lecturer in computer science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics a few times. I am glad that I pass my knowledge and passion on young people.
